Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Feji ("we", "us"), operated from California, United States. They govern your use of the Feji app and website (the "Service").

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By downloading or using Feji, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Feji. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Feji only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Feji is offered only in the United States and Canada.

2. What Feji Does

Feji is a personal grocery-list service. It lets you create and organize lists, assign items to stores, record prices, scan supported product barcodes, complete shopping trips, view shopping history, and receive suggestions based on prior completed trips. It also includes recipe browsing and search, optional live shared lists, optional notifications, a home-screen widget, a shopping-trip Live Activity, and Siri shortcuts for adding items.

Feji is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Accounts and Access

4. Plans

Feji has Free, Pro, and Unlimited plans, which differ in how much you can create and whether you can use shared lists. The current limits are shown in the app.

In-app purchases are not currently available. Plans are assigned by us, and there is nothing to buy or subscribe to. If we introduce paid subscriptions later, we will show you the price, the billing period, the renewal terms, and how to cancel, and ask for your agreement, before you are charged anything.

5. Your Content

Your grocery content is yours. You keep all rights to it, and you are responsible for what you enter.

You give us permission to store, copy, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to sync your lists to your devices, to show a shared list to people you invited, and to keep backups. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that expire on their own schedule. We do not use your grocery content to train models, and we do not sell it.

6. Shared Lists

Shared lists are optional and off by default. What using them discloses about you is described in our Privacy Policy.

Treat an invite link like a key: anyone you send it to can join. Do not put anything on a shared list that you would not want every member to read. You are responsible for who you invite; members are responsible for what they contribute. A list owner may remove any member at any time, and any member may leave at any time.

7. Grocery, Product, and Recipe Information

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful content, harass other members of a shared list, evade account restrictions or plan limits, or use automated methods that place unreasonable load on the Service.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent, removes your account and grocery data, and cannot be undone. What is removed and what briefly persists is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

Feji relies on services including Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple Maps, Apple Push Notification service, Open Food Facts, TheMealDB, Sentry, EmailJS, and Vercel. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and you agree to comply with any that apply to you. Third-party product and recipe information is provided without endorsement or guarantee by Feji.

11. Intellectual Property

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Feji on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. That is the only license we grant.

The Feji app, service, design, code, and branding remain ours and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or reverse engineer the Service, except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

12. Availability and Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AISLE, SUGGESTION, PRODUCT, OR RECIPE INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any warranty or right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEJI AND ITS DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ITS INFORMATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Apple

These terms are between you and Feji only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.

Questions, complaints, or support requests about the Service should be directed to us through our contact page.

15. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a period to export your data before it is deleted.

We may also update these terms. If a change is material, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we will update the date at the top of this page. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account, which you can do at any time. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute arising from these terms or the Service.

This does not deprive you of any protection you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live, or of any right you have to bring proceedings there. In particular, if you are a consumer resident in Quebec or another Canadian province whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts and to have your local consumer protection law apply, that right is unaffected by this section.
